Matteo Bellizzi, the prize-winning director of Sorriso Amaro, tells another story of the Italian province. In Brancaleone Calabria the locals intend celebrating Cesare Pavese's 100th anniversary but as in the past, all their initiatives seem to dissolve in hot air. This time they are determined to go to the writer's birthplace in the North of Italy and make the most of the heritage he left them. |

Mad's world (working title)

Maddalena Sisto - MAD’s sketches for Armani, Fiorucci and Ferré recount 30 years of Italian fashion. Her drawings reflect the influence that fashion had on women and how it was then reinterpreted. Using MAD's work as a visual reference, the famous fashion designers in Milano tell the story of Italian fashion in the golden years of the 70's, 80's and 90's.
