Vinylmania is coming... Lets prepare your needles guys!!

Meet Stefano Tealdi who will be in Locarno 5 - 9 August pitching CHAR - THE ISLAND WITHIN, an Indian-Danish-Italian co-production. The project will be presented at the Open Doors of the 64° Festival del Film di Locarno together with the director Sourav Sarangi and co-producer Signe Byrge Sørensen. The feature length documentary already has backing from Japanese NHK, Danida and RAI.
It tells the story of 14 year old Rubel  whose house was taken away by the river and now lives in the middle of the river itself. When the Indian government built the damn, the river Gange changed modifying the border with Bangladesh and taking away the land and creating the 'char', the lime deposited in the middle of the river. This was the only place the families who had lost their houses could go. And what will happen with the next monsoon?

Summer's started and we're taking a little break.

From 1st August we'll be out of the office but we'll be back on the 5th September with new productions, fresh ideas and a Kickstarter campaign! We wish you a happy summer!

From 5th-8th July the Stefilm crew will be in Bardonecchia for the 15th edition of Documentary in Europe!

The third edition of the Marcarolo workshop, which  focuses on the development of eco-sustainable documentaries, will take place between the 5-6 June 2010 and 4-5 September 2010 at the Ecomuseo di Cascina Moglioni, among the splendid natural parks.

The workshop is organized by the Parco naturale delle Capanne di Marcarolo and the Ecomuseo di Cascina Moglioni, in collaboration with Stefilm and Turin's CinemAmbiente festival.

January 2009: Mostar United is in competition at the Trieste Film Festival.
January 2010: one year later and we're back in Trieste. Claudia Tosi, the director of the doc and our very own Edoardo Fracchia, the producer, are invited for the case study of Mostar United.

The meeting will take place at 16,30 on Wednesday 27th at the Trieste Film Festival.

Coffee maniacs listen up! We've finished filming for our documentary on Coffee, by Stefilm and Artline Films, but we still need your participation!
